DAVID LO

After graduating from Diocesan Boys' School, he obtained a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts with honors from the University of Houston. Returning to Hong Kong, David began his career as the Art Director for Bates Graffix and Alan Chan Design. He later joined Grey Global Group in 1999 as the Design Director, playing a pivotal role in establishing Wba, a branding design company under Grey's umbrella. Prior to launching his own venture, LOMATTERS, as a Strategic Brand & Design Consultant, David served as the General Manager for South China Media, overseeing renowned magazines like CAPITAL, Esquire and CarPlus.

With extensive expertise in creative and media design, David has had a profound impact on visual branding in both overseas and Greater China markets. His specialization lies in corporate and brand identity design systems, brand management, and event planning. Beyond his professional endeavors, David is dedicated to mentoring design students at prestigious institutions, including Hong Kong Polytechnic University, HKDI, and numerous other local and international design schools.

David also serves industry and community, including being a Board of Director and former Vice-chairman of Hong Kong Design Centre, former Chairman of Hong Kong Designers Association, Board Member of Hong Kong Kidney Foundation, Member of the Stamp Advisory Committee of Hong Kong Post Office, Faculty Advisory Committee of THEi, and Member of the Design Discipline Advisory Board of VTC etc.

Recognized for his outstanding contributions, David actively participates in worldwide design competitions, winning over 100 design awards. His remarkable achievements include Communication Arts, New York Festivals, One Show, Young Guns Australia, Japan Applied Typography, Design for Asia Awards, Hong Kong Designers Association Awards, and the Ten Outstanding Designers Award 2013 etc.
