It is a great honour for me to be invited to design the limited-edition Mooncake Gift Box for Rosewood Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Palace Museum. This collaboration allows me to blend tradition and innovation for this special Mid-Autumn Festival celebration.
The gift box is titled "In Celebration of the Moon." The mooncakes inside have been meticulously crafted by renowned chefs from Rosewood Hong Kong, using a blend of classic and contemporary recipes. Indulge in the traditional white lotus seed paste mooncakes with double egg yolks, as well as the delicate mini egg custard mooncakes. Paired with the finest Jasmine tea, these delectable treats allow you to savour the elegant and serene ambiance of the Mid-Autumn Festival.It is light, and also our home.
The design of the gift box integrates iconic Hong Kong landmarks, creatively reinterpreting the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival packaging and the familiar sight of twinkling lights across our city. The warm glow emanating from the box illuminates our homes and spreads joy.
